The Office of Risk Management (ORM) serves several functions for the State. ORM operates as the adjuster for liability claims against the State; handling approximately 400+/- claims per year. We also develop and assess the premiums to fund the two self insurance funds for the State; workers compensation and liability. Beyond this ORM also manages all commercial insurance policies purchased by the State covering state operations. Certificates of insurance are requested through this office as well. ORM also is the gatekeeper for requests to modify the insurance provisions of Attachment C for contracts and grants.
