Montpelier Shuttle Services

The Capital Shuttle operated through Green Mountain Transit Agency will be starting on January 9, 2013.  This service operates free of charge Tuesday through Friday within the downtown Montpelier area to alleviate vehicle congestion during the 2013 Legislative Session.

This service is open to the general public including persons with disabilities and allows for flag stops as long as the location is safe for the bus to pull over.

Additionally, this service will deviate up to .10 of a mile from the published schedule by contacting GMTA at 802-223-7287. All public transportation vehicles in Vermont are lift-equipped for the general public and persons with disabilities.

The primary stops will be: National Life Building (North and Main lobbies), Department of Labor bus shelter, Capital Visitor Center, and the State House. As in years past, the Capital Visitor Center was added to accommodate State of Vermont employee fleet car pick-up & drop-off.  Please note GMTA is no longer servicing the Shaw's bus shelter.
