Hardware/Software/Application Security Support Services Description:

The Supplier shall provide strategies and solutions to defend hardware & software Iinformation Technogoly (IT) & Telecommunications resources against adversaries such as viruses, worms & hackers for operating systems & applications, penetration testing & related IT security activities.

Requirements/Capabilities & Methodologies:
•  Provide operational & analytical support related to security for computing platforms (i.e. computers, servers,
     mainframe) & networks
•  Analyze & evaluate new & emerging security technologies as well as Supplier security products for their
     applicability & feasibility of use in securing hardware/software IT & telecommunications resources
•  Support Agency/Department security operations, including assisting Agencies/Departments with analyzing,
     developing & implementing security methodologies & safeguards to protect their IT & telecommunications
     assets
•  Provide technical training for all aspects of IT security relative to computers, file servers, & networks
•  Perform security audits and/or penetration testing of IT systems & applications
•  Provide Security as a Service (SaaS) supporting the State with Supplier management. i.e. - Examples of work
     include 24/7 Incident Response assistance, vulnerability management or policy/procedure development
•  Provide technical or compliance training for all aspects of IT security. Examples of work include security
     awareness training, secure programming best practices or threat analysis
•  Analyze & evaluate new and emerging security technologies as well as Supplier security products for their
     applicability & feasibility of use in securing hardware/software IT & telecommunications resources
•  Perform security audits and/or penetration testing of IT systems & applications in the context of security
     standards such as NIST, IRS 1075, CJIS and HIPAA
•  Provide operational & analytical support related to security for computing platforms (i.e. computers, servers,
     and mainframe) & networks
