User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
User Acceptance Testing (UAT), which is one of the last phases before VTBuys goes live, started in late July and is expected to run for 10 weeks. Key VTBuys users from agencies are currently testing the system by using it for their normal purchasing and contracting tasks and reporting any errors they experience to the project team. Their input will be critically important for making sure VTBuys works smoothly for all State users.
VTBuys Training
The Project team has also been working with the implementation vendor to review and finalize the training materials. Training is tentatively scheduled for October 2024. Training will include a mix of instructor-led training and web-based training. More information, including a training schedule, will be provided when the dates are finalized.
